Valerie Hoban, trainer,
is known as one of the area’s top children/pony trainers.
She has taken students from the short stirrup division all the
way to juniors, trained students at top shows up and down the east
coast, and challenged her students to qualify for and compete in
the top national-level shows. Her experiences in the show ring,
plus professional
training in education, make her an ideal instructor for children.
She has been teaching elementary school in the Webster Central
School District for about ten years. Her two boys, Nathan and Benjamin,
share her love for horses, too. The Hoban family own a
medium pony named Splash, who the boys love riding when they watch
their Mom teach at the barn. |
